In a sudden announcement Wednesday, Kenyaβs president William Ruto withdrew a controversial finance bill that sparked violent protests and a deadlly government crackdown.
Kenyan police officers forcefully move protesters Tuesday. At least 22 people were killed by police after protesters stormed Parliament.
