A chunk of space debris found in N.C. came from a SpaceX capsule, NASA says

A large chunk of space debris discovered last month in North Carolina came from a SpaceX capsule that had journeyed to the space station, NASA has confirmed.
The roughly 90-pound piece of space debris was covered in carbon fiber weaving. NASA confirmed that the debris came from the trunk section of a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule. A metal object that had been used to mount International Space Station batteries on a cargo pallet struck a home in Naples, Florida, on March 8. The strange-looking object was found on a mountain trail in North Carolina.
