District of Columbia court hints at further repercussions, including possibility of being permanently disbarred
Hunter Bidenβs right to practice law in Washington DC has been suspended following his recent conviction on federal gun charges, with the possibility that he could be permanently disbarred.
The District of Columbia court of appeals issued an order on Tuesday suspending Bidenβs licence, citing the guilty verdict on three felony charges following this monthβs trial in Wilmington, Delaware, which it said were defined as βserious crimesβ under the districtβs bar rule.
