The controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate will be allowed to leave Romania while awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking, a court has ruled.

Tate, 37, had been banned from leaving the country but will now be permitted to travel within the EU without restrictions while awaiting the trial.

Met police to review investigation of deadly car crash at Wimbledon school

Families of two girls killed say there are unanswered questions about last year’s incident in south-west London

The Metropolitan police have launched a review of the investigation into a car crash at a school which killed two eight-year-old girls.

According to the force, the review was opened after concerns were raised by the families of Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau, both eight, who died after the crash at the Study Prep school in Wimbledon, south-west London, on 6 July last year.

Man, 46, guilty of murdering wife while her online boyfriend was on video link

Suma Begum’s two young children also witnessed Aminan Rahman killing their 24-year-old mother

A man has been convicted of strangling his wife while her online boyfriend was on a video link, and throwing her body hidden in a suitcase into a tributary of the River Thames.

Aminan Rahman, 46, was found guilty by a jury at the Old Bailey of murdering Suma Begum, 24, in a flat in east London on the night of 29 April last year.
